Dr. Joyce delivered some very grim news today. She has downgraded Dan's chance for survival to 5%. She believes that the lymphoma may be causing Danny's current state of extreme sickness. She did a biopsy of some bone marrow in Dan's chest today, as she believes the lymphoma may have taken over his blood vessels.

He has been sleeping a lot lately as he is on many medications, some for pain and some to relax him and of course, he is physically exhausted. The breathing tube continues to be essential. The dialysis machine has been causing him to have erratic blood pressures, but he is also getting rid of some of the fluids that have built up. The wound on his neck is not clotting even though they have tried giving him platelets. He is now on an air mattress that will keep him from getting hot spots from pressure points.The mattress helps move him around gently. The covering looks kind of like a sleeping bag and I think Danny likes that.

All of the wonders of modern medicine have taken him this far, now we're hoping for a miracle!
