Well the chemo has been flowing non stop since Wednesday evening and all is going well so far. One of the four drugs the are giving as a chemo treatment is Prednisone ( a steriod) has worked suppressing my fever, keep/get my appetite and give me energy from out of no where, though my muscles haven't gotten bigger yet (just kidding not that kind of steriod) They have me on an unbelievable antinause medicaton so I have had no problem there as of yet. I must say I am truly amazed at the number of drugs they do have me on. On top of the chemo IV's I bet they hang at least 6 -8 differant antibiotic / anti fungal or whatever meds.IV'S several times each a day. Then they must have me taking 10 - 14 different oral pills a day and several shots of pain meds. They have been watching my blood sugar due to the chemo drugs and I have so far today received 2 insulin shots. That's a lot of drugs.I feel like an adverisment for the pharmacutical companies.

Again I have to give great credit to my nursing staff for being top notch they are all the best. They all are so positive it keeps me going. All the visitors I have had and that are to come sure have made such a stay a lot more pleasant.
